Temple Grandin: An Open Door at Brauntex Theatre

A special documentary screening highlighting the life and legacy of Dr. Temple Grandin takes place at the Brauntex Theatre on April 9 from 6 pm to 7 pm. An Open Door explores Grandin’s influential work advocating for the humane treatment of livestock, autism awareness, and greater understanding of neurodiversity.

The film features interviews with Dr. Grandin, colleagues, industry professionals, and individuals influenced by her work, offering a look at her groundbreaking career and the impact of her insights as a visual thinker with autism. The documentary is directed by award-winning filmmaker John Barnhardt and presented by Colorado State University.

Admission to the screening is free, and guests do not need a ticket to the 7:30 pm speaking event to attend. Those who already have tickets for the evening speaking engagement are also admitted to the documentary screening.
