The Great Divide at Gruene Hall

Red Dirt roots and Texas songwriting history take center stage when The Great Divide returns to Gruene Hall on January 23, 2026. A defining force in the Oklahoma and Texas music scenes of the early 2000s, the band built a legacy through relentless touring, five albums, and a sound that helped shape what would become the Red Dirt movement. After years apart following frontman Mike McClure’s departure in 2003, the band reunited, rebuilt trust, and eventually expanded their lineup with keyboardist Bryce Conway. Their first new studio album in two decades, Providence, reflects both reflection and forward momentum, grounded in the masterful songwriting and independent spirit that made them influential to a generation of artists.

Doors open at 7 pm, with an opener to be announced performing at 8 pm. The Great Divide takes the stage at 9:30 pm. General admission tickets are $35 plus a $6.50 service fee. The performance takes place at Gruene Hall, located at 1281 Gruene Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
