The Merles at Krause’s Cafe

Classic country music takes the stage at Krause’s Cafe as The Merles perform an evening of traditional honky-tonk and dancehall favorites in New Braunfels. Based in Austin, the band features singer-songwriter Todd Deatherage, drummer Matt Winegardner, and pedal steel player Mike Simms, blending an old-school country sound inspired by legends such as Hank Williams, Ray Price, Lefty Frizzell, George Strait, and Merle Haggard.

Known for their catchy choruses and danceable tunes, The Merles have built a strong following across Texas through performances at venues including Luckenbach Dancehall, Mercer Street Dancehall, The Little Longhorn Saloon, and Lonesome Rose. The group has also shared stages with artists including Dale Watson, Johnny Bush, Jason Boland, Bri Bagwell, Jason Eady, and Rosie Flores.

The Merles will perform on Friday, June 12 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at Krause’s Cafe in New Braunfels.
