Thursday Salsa Night at The Attic Dance Hall

The Attic Dance Hall hosts Thursday Salsa Night with two lessons followed by a Salsa practice and social. Classes are led by world champion salsa dancer Jose Santoyo of Austin and welcome both beginners and experienced dancers.

Salsa 1, designed for beginners, runs from 7:30 pm to 8:15 pm and covers fundamentals, technique, and a new combination each week. Salsa 2 follows from 8:15 pm to 9 pm and focuses on technique, styling, and new patterns. Participants should already know basic salsa steps, including 1, 2, and 3, a cross-body lead, ladies’ right turn, and men’s right turn. Salsa Practice/Social takes place from 9 pm to 9:30 pm.

Thursday Salsa Night is held at The Attic Dance Hall, 134 Rusch Ln., New Braunfels, except on holidays. Drop-in admission is $20 per class, while discounted one- and three-month punchcards are available for weekly classes, with the three-month option bringing the cost to $12 per class. A youth, high school, and college student special is available for $8. BYOB is welcome, and the snack bar offers sodas, water, and snacks.
