Ultimate Easter Egg Hunt in Downtown New Braunfels and Gruene

Families can take part in a citywide spring celebration during the Ultimate Easter Egg Hunt taking place from March 28 through April 3, 2026, throughout Downtown New Braunfels and Historic Gruene. The event features a digital egg hunt that encourages participants to visit local businesses and locations while collecting points for raffle entries.

Participants earn raffle tickets based on the points they collect, meaning even a visit to just a few locations provides a chance to win prizes. Registration is $50 and includes 10 starting points, with an additional 5 bonus points available for those who register before March 22.

The event begins with a free kickoff celebration on Saturday, March 28 at 10 am featuring an age-leveled Easter egg hunt on the lawn of First Protestant Church, located at 172 W. Coll Street, New Braunfels, Texas. The hunt continues throughout the week and concludes with a finale event on Friday, April 3 from 5 pm to 8 pm in downtown New Braunfels. The closing celebration coincides with the Downtown Association’s First Friday event and will take place in front of The Local and in the UPS parking lot, where participants can join the festivities and submit their entries for the raffle drawing.
