Vegetable Gardening Class at Comal County AgriLife Classroom
An event every week that begins at 8:30 am on Saturday, repeating until June 27, 2026
A hands-on learning experience for beginners returns with the 2026 Vegetable Gardening Class, held over five consecutive Saturdays from May 30 through June 27, running from 8:30 am to 12 pm each day.
Led by Comal County Master Gardeners and horticulture specialists, this course covers the fundamentals of growing a successful vegetable garden. Participants will learn about soil preparation, composting, vermicomposting, plant diseases, watering systems, herbs, and managing insects in the garden, all through a mix of instruction and practical training.
The class takes place at the Comal County AgriLife Classroom, located at 325 Resource Drive in New Braunfels. The cost is $40, and registration is open from April 1 through May 25, 2026. Refunds are available until May 27.
