Wade Bowen at Gruene Hall

Texas songwriting tradition takes center stage at Gruene Hall with a live performance by Wade Bowen on January 30, 2026. With more than two decades on the road and thousands of shows behind him, Bowen has become one of the most respected voices in modern Texas and Red Dirt country music. Drawing inspiration from legendary troubadours such as Guy Clark, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Robert Earl Keen, his music blends literary songwriting with a sound rooted in tradition while continuing to evolve creatively. Bowen’s extensive catalog includes more than a dozen albums, highlighted by his 2024 release Flyin, which showcases his range as a songwriter and performer and earned widespread acclaim across the country music landscape.
Doors open at 7 pm, with Matt Kirk & The Gueyfarers performing at 8 pm, followed by Wade Bowen taking the stage at 9:30 pm. General admission tickets are $30 plus a $6.50 service fee. The performance takes place at Gruene Hall, located at 1281 Gruene Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
