Wasserfest at Landa Falls

A beloved New Braunfels tradition returns on May 16 as Wasserfest brings summer fun, live music, and community activities back to the banks of the Comal River. Originally launched as a summer kickoff festival during the 1980s at Landa Falls, the event revives the spirit of the original celebration with tubing, food, games, and live entertainment throughout the day.

Guests can float the Comal River and enjoy the festival grounds from 10 am to 2 pm, while food trucks, family-friendly activities, and river games begin at 12 pm. Live music by Soul Sessions takes place from 1 pm to 4 pm along the riverbank, creating a lively atmosphere for the afternoon. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, chairs, and reusable containers while enjoying the outdoor event.

General admission tickets are $10, and children under 12 are admitted free. Combined Wasserfest and tubing trip tickets are $20 for adults ages 13 and up and $10 for children ages 6 to 12.
