Wurstfest at the Wurstfest Grounds in New Braunfels

Wurstfest returns November 7–16, 2025, for its 64th annual salute to sausage — a lively ten-day celebration of German heritage and Texas charm. Located along the beautiful Comal River in New Braunfels, this beloved festival features delicious food, cold beer, music, dancing, carnival rides, games, and Bavarian-style entertainment. Guests can enjoy everything from traditional polka bands and sausage on a stick to lederhosen-clad revelers and festive parades.
Wurstfest begins on Friday, November 7, with the official Opening Ceremony at 5:30 pm in Wursthalle. The festival continues daily with extended hours, offering free admission Monday through Thursday and on the final Sunday after 3 pm. Admission for children 12 and under is always free.
