SUMMARY:Dachshund Races at Krause’s Cafe
DESCRIPTION:One of Krause’s Cafe’s most popular traditions returns with the 2026 Dachshund Race Series\, kicking off on March 29 from 2 pm to 5 pm. The family-friendly event features spirited races starring dachshunds as they compete for top spots and the chance to qualify for the race finals scheduled for December 6. Additional race dates in the series include April 19\, September 13\, October 4\, and November 1. \nDoors open at 1 pm\, with races beginning at 2 pm. Medals will be awarded to race winners as well as the best-dressed dachshund. Guests are also encouraged to bring food and supply donations to benefit the Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area. \nTickets are $7 for guests ages 5 and up. Racer registration is $15 per dog and includes two tickets for the owners. Only dogs competing in the races will be permitted entry. These races are held for family fun and entertainment purposes only\, and no refunds will be issued. A 20% gratuity will be added to all checks. \nKrause’s Cafe is located at 148 S.
