CITY OF NEW BRAUNFELS WANTS YOUR INPUT ON DOWNTOWN ZONING UPDATES
Survey Open for Residents, Business Owners, and Stakeholders

The City of New Braunfels is seeking community input on potential updates to downtown zoning standards through the Downtown New Braunfels Form-Based Code Stakeholder and Preference Surveys. These updates could have a major impact on future development, aiming to preserve the areaâs historic charm while improving walkability and public spaces.
Unlike traditional zoning, form-based codes focus on how buildings interact with public spacesâenhancing sidewalks, plazas, and streetscapes while ensuring that new developments complement downtownâs character.
Community members can weigh in on these changes by taking the survey at www.newbraunfels.gov/ldo.
