Schlitterbahn is ramping up for summer and looking to hire over 2,000 seasonal employees to join its team.
The hiring blitz runs from Feb. 15-18, with positions available in lifeguarding, food service, security, and more.
The park, which opens for the season on April 18, recently underwent new upgrades, including Schatzeās Storybrook Park and updates to the iconic Hillside Tube Chute.

City Warns Against Fake Invoices Claiming to Be from New Braunfels Officials
The City of New Braunfels is warning property owners about a fraudulent email scam targeting those working with the Planning & Development Services Department. Scammers are sending fake invoices claiming payment is due and providing instructions for a wire transferābut donāt fall for it!
The city has made it clear that all legitimate invoices are processed through an official online system, and they will never ask for payment via wire transfer.
If you receive one of these emails, do not respond or send moneyāinstead, contact the Planning & Development Services Department at 830-221-4069 to report it.

BIRD FLU DETECTED IN LANDA PARK
Comal County Confirms First Cases of Avian Influenza
Texas wildlife officials have confirmed the presence of avian influenza (bird flu) in Landa Park, marking the first reported cases in Comal County.
Tests revealed the virus in 22 black vultures and three unidentified waterfowl, with several birds found deceased near the parkās pond.
While the risk to humans is low, officials advise avoiding contact with sick or dead birds and reporting any unusual wildlife behavior to Comal County Public Health at 830-221-1150.
Residents are also encouraged to remove bird feeders and bird baths to help prevent further spread of the virus among local bird populations.
