A new outdoor space for families, fitness, and fun.
New Braunfels is getting a brand-new park, and you’re invited to celebrate! This Saturday, March 22, from 11 am to 2 pm, head over to Fairway Park for a first look at the new bike pump track, 18-hole disc golf course, playscape, and walking trails.
This free event will feature food trucks, kids’ activities, a live DJ, and more! Bring your bikes and golf discs, as Avid Trails and the Tri-County Disc Golf Association will be on-site showcasing the park’s new amenities. Plus, don’t miss the opportunity to tour the nearby model homes while you're there!
🚦 TRAFFIC SIGNAL OPTIMIZATION PROJECT BEGINS
Fewer stops, faster commutes, and less fuel waste.
Good news for New Braunfels drivers—traffic flow improvements are coming! The City of New Braunfels and TxDOT are launching a traffic signal optimization project designed to reduce stops, cut travel times, and lower emissions.
It’s been five years since the city’s 60 traffic signals were last analyzed, and with increased demand, congestion has only worsened. This project will collect traffic data, adjust signal timing, and evaluate corridor systems to keep traffic moving smoothly.
The $450,000 project is 80% federally funded, with the city covering the remaining 20%.
Work is set to begin soon, so get ready for a smoother drive across town!
