An early fiesta full of art, music, and margaritas
Cantina del Rio is throwing a Cinco de Mayo celebration this Sunday, May 4th, and it’s going to be a blast.
From 11 am to 6 pm, explore a lively outdoor market featuring handmade goods, local art, and unique vendors. Then from 2 pm to 4 pm, enjoy a live Mariachi performance by Mariachi Renacer.

🅿️ RIVER PARKING CHANGES NOW IN EFFECT
What locals need to know before heading to the river
Seasonal paid parking officially kicked off May 1 in New Braunfels river parks—and this year, there’s a new way for residents to park for free.
If you live inside city limits, you’re eligible for a free digital Resident River Parking Pass, which replaces the old sticker system. Once registered, your license plate will automatically be recognized at select city river lots.
Important: Passes must now be registered online, even if you’ve had one in the past.
The new pass does not cover Prince Solms Park, which has a $20 fee during the summer season.
