A Special Night of Dancing, Refreshments, and Memories

This year’s theme, "Aloha Daddy Daughter," brings a tropical twist to the beloved event.

Tickets include admission to the themed ballroom, dancing, refreshments, and a special keepsake for each daughter.

City Council Approves Tax Incentives for a Major Retail Expansion

It’s official—Costco is coming to New Braunfels!

The New Braunfels City Council has approved nearly $8 million in tax incentives to bring the 150,000-square-foot warehouse to the Mayfair development off I-35 and Kohlenberg Road.

Scheduled to open in March 2026, the new $37 million store is expected to bring 150 jobs and significantly boost local retail options, keeping millions of dollars in the local economy.

The Mayfair development, spanning nearly 2,000 acres, will also feature homes, townhomes, commercial spaces, and parks—marking a major expansion for the area. Get ready for more shopping convenience right here in New Braunfels!

Traditional Music, Dancing, and Festivities at the New Braunfels Elks Lodge This Weekend

Get ready for a night of German Mardi Gras fun! The annual Maskenball 2025 takes place on Saturday, February 22, from 7 10 p.m. at the New Braunfels Elks Lodge.

Hosted by The German-American Society of New Braunfels, this festive event features live music from Terry Cavanagh & Alpine Express, dancing, and traditional celebrations.

Maskenball is a unique part of New Braunfels’ deep German heritage, bringing together locals for a night of music, culture, and camaraderie.

🔹 New Braunfels locals Kyle Kennedy, Lalita Kennedy, and Joseph Collins are transforming The Voigt House, one of the city’s oldest historic landmarks, into Kennedy’s Tavern, an Irish bar featuring specialty drinks, Irish fare, a speakeasy, and live music, with plans to open this fall.

🔹 Legacy MCS has begun construction on The Village at Mayfair, a 217-home build-to-rent community in New Braunfels, featuring modern cottage-style homes with premium amenities, as part of the larger 1,900-acre Mayfair master-planned development, with homes expected to be available by late summer or early fall of 2026.

🔹 Family Care Center has opened a new outpatient mental health clinic in New Braunfels, expanding access to therapy, psychiatric care, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to address the region’s growing need for mental health services, with in-person and virtual appointments available for patients of all ages.
