ASA Properties just announced plans for Word Park, a stunning new 65-acre public park coming to New Braunfels. Part of Veramendi’s vision for a 480-acre connected park system, Word Park will preserve and showcase the beautiful Hill Country landscape while offering tons of recreational options for locals.

The park will feature nature playscapes, water features, pickleball courts, hiking trails, zipline adventures, and even educational elements—all designed with community and connection in mind. It's named after the Word family, who have safeguarded the land since 1941.

Word Park is set to break ground later this year, marking an exciting leap forward for outdoor life in New Braunfels.
