The New Braunfels Community Emergency Response Team (NBCERT) is offering a free G-317 Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training Course from Friday, August 14, through Sunday, August 16, 2026. Training is scheduled for Friday from 6 pm to 10 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm. Participants will learn essential disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery skills, culminating in a disaster simulation exercise that puts their training into practice. The course is designed for those interested in serving their community during emergencies and local events.
