The Duelists – A Play on Swords at New Braunfels Public Library

An evening of theatrical swordplay and stage combat comes to the New Braunfels Public Library during The Duelists – A Play on Swords. This live exhibition combines action, performance, and behind-the-scenes demonstrations as two duelists engage in a dramatic affair of honor through choreographed combat.

The program will showcase a variety of weapons, fighting styles, and combat techniques, featuring both armed and unarmed encounters. In addition to the performances, attendees will learn how stage combat performers train to safely create the illusion of realistic violence for theatrical productions and live entertainment.

The Duelists – A Play on Swords will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Main Library Meeting Room at the New Braunfels Public Library Main Branch, located at 700 E Common St, New Braunfels, TX 78130. The program is open to adults ages 18 and older.
