The Merles at Krause’s Café

The Merles bring their old-school country sound to Krause’s Café on December 19 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Based in Austin, this original classic country band features singer-songwriter Todd Deatherage, drummer Matt Winegardner, and pedal steel player Mike Simms, creating a traditional honky-tonk style built for dancing and sing-along choruses. Their music draws inspiration from country greats like Hank Williams, Ray Price, Lefty Frizzell, George Strait, and Merle Haggard, honoring the golden era of country with a sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
Known for a busy touring schedule throughout Texas, The Merles have built a loyal following through regular performances at venues such as Luckenbach Dancehall, Mercer Street Dancehall, and The Little Longhorn Saloon, and they have shared the stage with artists including Dale Watson, Johnny Bush, Jason Boland, and Rosie Flores.
The performance will take place at Krause’s Café, 148 S. Castell Ave., New Braunfels, TX 78130. For more information, visit the venue’s website.
