Families looking for a fun and low-stress way to celebrate the New Year have a great option this year at the New Braunfels Public Library’s Westside Branch.
The library is hosting a New Year’s Noon celebration at the Westside Library & Community Center, giving kids and parents a chance to ring in the New Year without staying up late.
The event will take place in the gym on Wednesday, December 31, starting at 10:00 a.m. The morning will include winter-themed games and activities, followed by a kid-friendly dance party and a countdown to noon, when attendees will officially welcome the New Year together.
This daytime celebration is designed to be a safe, convenient, and family-focused alternative to late-night events, making it especially appealing for younger children.
It’s a relaxed way to enjoy the excitement of New Year’s Eve while still keeping routines intact.
The New Braunfels Public Library also reminds residents to plan ahead around holiday hours. All library locations will close early on New Year’s Eve and will be closed entirely on New Year’s Day.
