A popular San Marcos neighborhood market is expanding to New Braunfels.
Ollie’s Market will open its second location this fall at Mayfair, bringing its locally focused approach to food, coffee, and community to the growing master-planned development in North New Braunfels.
The family-owned business will operate the new welcome café at 5708 Guthrie Trail in Midtown Mayfair, where it will serve both Mayfair residents and visitors.
The new location is expected to feature freshly baked bread and pastries, espresso, a grab-and-go deli selection, market salads, smash burgers, and more. Beer, wine, mixed drinks, and weekend programming are also planned.
An exact opening date and operating hours will be announced closer to the opening.
Ollie’s Market was founded in San Marcos by Natalie and Eli Zablosky with an emphasis on clean, seasonal food and supporting local and regional producers.
Rather than operating like a traditional big-box grocery store, Ollie’s describes itself as an independent neighborhood grocer rooted in small-town Texas. The business works with area farmers and producers to source food closer to home while offering an experience that’s warm, welcoming, and distinctly local.
The original Ollie’s has quickly made an impression in San Marcos, earning the Outstanding New Business award in the 2026 Love Downtown Awards.
For the owners, New Braunfels felt like a natural place to expand.
“Ollie’s Market has always been an extension of how we eat at home,” co-founder Natalie Zablosky said. “It started as a way to bring what I was raised with in San Marcos back into the community food scene. New Braunfels feels like a natural next step — a community that shares the same values we built this market on.”
The Mayfair location will be slightly different from the San Marcos flagship, using more of a café-style format while maintaining Ollie’s focus on locally sourced ingredients, seasonal recipes, and partnerships with area vendors.
“We’re not trying to become something bigger than what we are,” co-founder Eli Zablosky said. “We’re intentionally extending Ollie’s mission to a new neighborhood.”
Ollie’s will also mark another milestone in the development of Midtown Mayfair, the recreation, shopping, dining, entertainment, and workplace district planned for the heart of the 1,900-acre community.
The welcome café will be the third building completed in Midtown Mayfair, following two major amenities that recently opened.
Celebration Hall is a 7,500-square-foot open-air pavilion designed for community events, concerts, markets, movie nights, fitness classes, and other gatherings. The new resident-only Midtown Swim Club features a two-tier pool, poolside cabanas, a covered pavilion, and flexible lawn spaces.
Adding a locally owned café gives residents and visitors another reason to spend time in Midtown beyond organized events and recreation.

The announcement comes during a period of significant growth for Mayfair.
Fairway Park has already introduced a public playground, walking trails, bike pump track, and 18-hole disc golf course to the community. More than 300 acres of parks and recreational open space and 35 miles of trails are planned as Mayfair develops.
The community also has an on-site Comal ISD elementary school, with a middle school planned for 2027. New homes continue to be added by multiple builders, while the broader Midtown Mayfair vision will eventually introduce additional places to shop, eat, work, and gather.
Mayfair was also recently voted Best Neighborhood in the Herald-Zeitung’s 2026 Best of New Braunfels awards.
The addition of Ollie’s is another sign that the community is moving beyond its earliest stages and beginning to develop the everyday destinations envisioned for it.
For New Braunfels residents who already make the trip north to visit Ollie’s in San Marcos, that experience will soon be available much closer to home.
