Two of downtown New Braunfels’ most recognizable entertainment venues are officially on the market.
Pour Haus Patio Bar and Downtown Social have been listed for sale as a combined operating business with an asking price of $4.5 million. The listing describes the properties as a two-venue entertainment and beverage platform operating under common ownership with shared management, labor, and purchasing systems.
According to the listing, the businesses generated approximately $4.95 million in gross revenue with reported EBITDA of $870,000. The businesses were originally established in 2012 and operate in leased spaces in the heart of downtown.
Downtown Social is a large indoor entertainment venue featuring a commercial kitchen, high-capacity bar, bowling lanes, a dedicated live-event stage, sports-viewing infrastructure, and flexible seating for private events and group functions. The building itself carries historic significance as the former Gerlich Auto Company — the original Ford dealership in Texas — and still includes original architectural elements from its early days.
Immediately next door, Pour Haus Patio Bar offers a different experience with its open-air courtyard, indoor and outdoor bars, and nightly live music.
With its laid-back, pet-friendly atmosphere, cornhole boards, giant Jenga, and steady lineup of performers, Pour Haus has long been considered one of downtown’s staple live music venues.
Both businesses are beverage-driven operations, with the listing noting an approximate 85% alcohol and 15% food revenue split. Together, they provide a mix of indoor and outdoor space, day and night traffic, and appeal to both locals and visitors.
Pour Haus was opened in 2012 by partners Tim White and Mike Keyser. Five years later, they expanded into Downtown Social, restoring the historic building and creating a multi-atmosphere entertainment destination.
Over the years, the businesses have added features like a rooftop bar, bowling lanes, trivia nights, live music programming, and a chef-driven kitchen.
The listing indicates ownership is offering the operating businesses for sale and will provide 30 days of support and training to a new owner.
As of now, no timeline has been announced for a potential sale or transition.
For many locals, Pour Haus and Downtown Social have been part of downtown’s evolution over the past decade, helping shape the entertainment landscape in New Braunfels. What the future holds for the two venues will be closely watched by many in the community.
