We start this list in Creekside, where Topgolf is officially coming to New Braunfels.

The store’s arrival reflects growing demand in New Braunfels for healthier and specialty grocery options, something that’s been missing as the population continues to boom.
3. Texas Roadhouse
ETA: Early 2026
Texas Roadhouse is coming behind Target, bringing its famous steaks, hearty sides, and those beloved buttered rolls. For many locals, this means no more drives to San Antonio or San Marcos to get their fix.
Known for its fun, lively atmosphere and big portions, the restaurant is expected to be a popular family dinner spot from day one.
4. The Court House
ETA: Fall 2025
Solms Landing will soon welcome The Court House, a new social club designed for both competition and community. The venue will feature padel and pickleball courts, two sports quickly rising in popularity.

After years of requests, New Braunfels is finally getting an Academy at Courtyard Plaza, right near the Ollie’s we just discussed.. The store will stock outdoor gear, team sports equipment, hunting and fishing supplies, and apparel for the whole family.
This long-awaited arrival means locals won’t have to travel out of town for sporting goods, making Academy a welcome addition for athletes, parents, and weekend adventurers alike.
7. Costco
ETA: Spring 2026

Yes, it’s official, Costco is on the way to Mayfair. The warehouse giant will bring bulk shopping, electronics, furniture, and of course, the famous $1.50 hot dog combo.

10. Saludos Cocina + Bar

Downtown’s historic Dittlinger Building will soon be home to Saludos Cocina + Bar. With a menu of tapas and tequila, it aims to bring Hill Country flair to a stylish new dining and nightlife spot.
The addition continues the revitalization of downtown New Braunfels, offering a place to gather, sip, and share plates in a historic setting.
11. Old City Hall Restaurant & Bar
ETA: Late 2025

On North Seguin Avenue, the historic Old City Hall building is being transformed into a new restaurant and bar by the Wiggins Hospitality Group, the family behind McAdoo’s and La Cosecha.
The restaurant will serve classic American dishes and handcrafted cocktails in a space designed to honor the building’s history while creating a modern dining destination.
With everything from entertainment venues and big-box retailers to local bakeries and stylish new restaurants coming to town, New Braunfels is attracting a diverse mix of businesses.
