The Circle Arts Theatre is set to bring big laughs and sharp wit to the stage with Parallel Lives, running select dates from August 15–24, 2025.
This high-energy comedy features two talented women playing an astonishing 40 characters in just two hours, whisking audiences through a range of outrageous scenarios that capture the quirks, struggles, and absurdities of modern life.
From Supreme Beings plotting humanity’s future to teenagers on awkward dates, sisters at their grandmother’s funeral, and even hippies and bar patrons in a country-western saloon, no scene is off-limits. Every sketch offers a fresh set of characters, rapid-fire transitions, and moments that are equal parts hilarious and heartfelt.
We would like to point out that Parallel Lives is recommended for ages 18 and above due to its adult language and sensitive topics.

Now in its 57th season, Circle Arts Theatre has been a cornerstone of New Braunfels’ performing arts scene since 1968.
