Looking to have some fun this Labor Day weekend? While there’s plenty of stuff happening here in New Braunfels this weekend, car lovers might want to consider making the short drive to Traders Village San Antonio for their 10th Annual VW Rollout that’s taking place.
That’s right, one of Texas’ biggest Volkswagen events is back and bigger than ever. The VW Rollout takes over San Antonio this Labor Day Weekend, August 29–31, 2025, bringing three full days of classic cars, live music, community fun, and plenty of shopping and food.
The celebration kicks off Friday, August 29, with a high-energy Kickoff Party from 5–10 p.m. at Traders Village. Expect music, food served from 7:30–8:30 p.m., and of course, plenty of Volkswagens lined up and gleaming under the lights.
On Saturday, August 30 (8 a.m.–5 p.m.), the beloved Show & Shine event invites enthusiasts to show off their rides while guests enjoy live music, raffles, and a laid-back VW Cruise rolling out at 5 p.m. It’s a chance to admire some of the most iconic—and lovingly restored—vehicles around.
The weekend culminates on Sunday, August 31 (8 a.m.–5 p.m.), with the Main Event: a judged car show featuring trophies, raffles, live bands, and a sea of classic VWs. Whether you’re competing or just spectating, this is the highlight of the weekend and one of the largest gatherings of Volkswagen fans in Texas.
Classic cars may be the main draw, but the VW Rollout has become a gathering spot for music lovers, foodies, families, and anyone looking for a good time. Guests can explore shady pavilions, carnival rides, great food, and rows of vendors selling everything from auto parts to collectibles at fantastic prices.
Don’t forget that Traders Village also has $2 parking before 10 am every weekend this August, so make sure to arrive early to save a little money!
It’s the perfect mix of family-friendly entertainment and niche car culture that brings thousands together every year.
Whether you love Volkswagens or just love a good time, this is the place to be this Labor Day weekend.
