Sylver Spoon Dinner Theater Has Closed

This has been a tough week for local New Braunfels businesses. First, Billy’s Ice announced it would be closing in September, and now, another business has followed suit. After eight years of blending fine dining with live entertainment, Sylver Spoon Dinner Theater in New Braunfels has officially closed its doors. The announcement came in an emotional post from the owners, who thanked guests for years of laughter, celebrations, and memories.

Sylver Spoon was a dining experience like no other in town. Guests could enjoy multi-course chef-inspired dinners followed by live theater, comedy nights, or even murder mystery performances. This dinner and a show concept made for a truly memorable evening.

The concept, created by sisters Sylver, Madison, and Tori Monaco, quickly became a hidden gem in the Hill Country, offering everything from stand-up comedy Thursdays to immersive weekend plays and Sunday wine dinners.

But while the lights at Sylver Spoon have dimmed, the story isn’t ending for good. Many of the restaurant’s signature dishes, as well as its beloved “Date Night Comedy” shows and Music Bingo events, will live on at The Abbott House in Seguin. All previously booked events are being moved there at no extra charge, and Sylver Spoon gift cards will be honored through the end of September.

The owners encourage their loyal guests to join them at The Abbott House for the next chapter, which continues the same mix of food, entertainment, and community that made Sylver Spoon special.

“Though Sylver Spoon’s lights have dimmed, the love and spirit we built here live on,” they shared. “We hope you’ll join us at The Abbott House as we carry that torch forward.”
